Lesson Explanation
Saying thank you is one of the most important social skills in any language. In English, there are many ways to express gratitude — from a simple “Thanks!” between friends to a more formal “I am truly grateful for your help.”
Just as important is knowing how to respond when someone thanks you. Saying nothing is impolite — so learning the right responses is just as essential as learning how to give thanks.
Pro Tip: In English, “You’re welcome” is the classic response to “thank you” — but native speakers also use “No problem,” “Of course,” “Anytime,” and “My pleasure” depending on the situation.
